I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. I have two Master’s degrees from the University of Texas at Austin in Educational Psychology and Counseling Psychology. I serve adults, couples, adolescents, and groups.

I see my practice as a continual learning experience; a powerful process walking along with individuals and helping them shape new understandings of themselves and new relationships with their environment. My approach to psychotherapy is eclectic and sensitive to individual needs. In particular, I incorporate relational and mindfulness theories and techniques.
I believe in using a respectful, non-judgmental attitude to help clients solve problems, overcome fears, and improve relationships. In addition, of utmost importance in my work are the creation of a safe space and a trustful relationship, compassionate regard for the client, and the honoring of the person's growth.

I was born in Italy where I spent most of my life. Growing up in a foreign country and moving to the US more than fifteen years ago has offered me the opportunity to be a more mindful and compassionate observer of the cultural aspects of our lives. I speak also Italian and Spanish. The great diversity of my life experience is a considerable resource in my therapeutic work.
In recent years I completed training in EMDR (an approach for treating trauma) and PACT (a couple's therapy approach).

I have extensive experience working with a wide range of concerns including:
Eating disorders
LGBTQ issues
Bipolar disorder
My main focus and experience is on relationship issues.
